The new VW Passat CC R-Line
So far VW has managed to add an R-Line model to the Golf, Scirocco, Touran, Tiguan, Passat Variant and Touareg and of course to the regular Passat offerings with the Passat R-Line being introduced on the saloon and Estate back in May. And now we get the VW Passat CC R-Line. Sadly – as with all recent R-Line offerings – we’re not getting power improvements but just a cosmetic job.
The new Enzo Ferrari – the F150 – will arrive at Geneva, cost €1-1.1m Euros, just 499 will be built and delivery starts in October. We know for sure that the new McLaren P1 will come with 903bhp courtesy of a ‘hybrid’ boost, and it seems likely the new Enzo – the Ferrari F150, until we get the proper name – will usurp that with somewhere between 920 and 950bhp from its V12 plus electric boost. The 2012 Ford Explorer--the first vehicle in North America to get the company's four-cylinder EcoBoost engine--is rated at 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, it was announced on Thursday morning. The 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost Explorer engine pushes out 240 hp at 5,500 rpm and 270 lb-ft at 3,000 rpm. The four-cylinder is a significant part of the Explorer's dramatic makeover, which has seen the family-hauler transition from a body-on-frame SUV to unibody underpinnings.
